PDF to Word: where precision is decided
OCR, for scanned documents
A scanned PDF is only a photograph of text. Our engine applies optical character recognition (OCR): every glyph is identified and becomes selectable text in Word again. Accuracy depends on scan sharpness — above 300 dpi the error rate becomes marginal; below that, proofread figures and proper names.
Tables, rebuilt cell by cell
Where many tools flatten tables into images, the conversion rebuilds rows, columns and merged cells into real Word tables — sortable, recalculable, restyled in one click. It is criterion number one for accounts, quotes and financial statements.
Fonts and line spacing, without drift
Fonts embedded in the PDF are reused; missing ones are substituted with the closest metric equivalent so pagination does not slip. The Word document keeps the same page count as the original — layout fidelity is judged on that detail.
And the other way round (Word, DOCX to PDF)
The reverse direction freezes your document: embedded fonts, respected page breaks, ready to share. Useful after an edit, to send back a locked version.

Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions below. For other inquiries, please contact us by email.
Is there a free version?
No: access goes through the 48-hour trial at 0.50 €, then 39.90 €/month, cancellable in one click. Free PDF-to-Word converters do the job on simple text; it is on tables, fonts and scans that the gap opens — many then deliver an image of the text rather than editable text. Test the trial on your most structured document: the verdict is immediate.
Is the Word file really editable?
Yes: the result is a native .docx — paragraphs, heading styles, tables and separate images — not a screenshot inserted into a page. You resume writing, move blocks, correct amounts as in any Word document.
What happens with a scanned PDF?
Optical character recognition runs automatically: the photographed text becomes real text again, selectable and correctable. A sharp 300 dpi scan comes out with a marginal error rate; on a mediocre scan, check figures and proper names — no OCR on the market escapes that.
Do tables survive the conversion?
It is our declared strength: rows, columns and merged cells are rebuilt into authentic Word tables, sortable and recalculable. Account books and figure-heavy statements are precisely the use case this engine is tuned for.
Will the fonts be identical?
Fonts embedded in the PDF are reused; the others are substituted with the closest metric equivalent to preserve pagination and line spacing. The converted document keeps the same page count as the original — our reference fidelity test.
Can I convert the other way (Word to PDF)?
Yes, the Word-to-PDF tool freezes your .doc/.docx into a print-faithful PDF, fonts embedded. The typical round trip: convert to Word, correct, refreeze as PDF for sending.
Is there a page or file limit?
No volume limit with the subscription: convert documents of several hundred pages, as often as needed. Only the size of each individual file is capped, at a level that covers everyday professional use.
Are my confidential documents protected?
Encrypted transfer, isolated processing, automatic deletion after conversion: nothing is kept or shared. The law firms and finance teams that use us require this behaviour — it applies to every customer, with no opt-in.
